Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Risk Reports

Our CBRN Risk Reports provide a summary of key developments regarding the malicious use of hazardous chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear materials across a six-month period.

Our expert team conducts open-source research and collection on a bi-weekly basis to ensure we are monitoring incidents as they occur. Findings are then triaged before we overlay our expert knowledge, delivering analytical insight and identifying trends.

CBRN Risk Report: January – June 2024

The latest edition of our six-monthly report provides a comprehensive review and analysis of the major CBRN incidents that took place around the world in the first half of 2024.

While no verified CBRN terrorist attacks were recorded, the report does provide commentary on malicious events that have utilised CBRN materials, including those in the UK, USA, Mexico and Ukraine. We also look at current and future vulnerabilities, as well as how new technologies and techniques are being used to either facilitate or prevent CBRN attacks.
